Pet Valu x ReMax
Moving is a huge task, but moving with pets doesn’t have to be difficult
Pet Valu and ReMax collaborated on a Moving with Pets campaign that started in 2024. Pet parents receive a box (a limited run) containing a dog toy and 6 major tips to help a pet transition to a new home which target Pet Valu’s strategy pillars of education and locality as the box has a QR code that links to store locations. The landing page (found here) offers up evergreen resources and educational content to ensure pet parents can receive this info at anytime.
Design Considerations
Since the box and hangtag are presented to the homeowner by a ReMax realtor, Pet Valu’s branded colours and illustrations were used extensively to ensure brand awareness was highlighted. Illustrations were added to reinforce the pet element but also to convey the delightful and fun experience of moving into a new place. For the landing page, the hero content of a full guide was placed first on the scroll to ensure homeowners could access the most important info if they left the landing page early. Overall, since it’s a content-focused piece, copy was shortened on the main page to reduce the scroll length to prevent people from leaving the page earlier.
Design Process
For the box and hangtag, our agency partners provided initial concepts and I made it brand-aligned and adhering to our brand strategy. The landing page design took 2 weeks with collaboration with the UX/UI designer who did the wires in 1 week and the developers who took the exported assets and developed it in another week. The time for the total project was about a month.
